Hastings Casino, slots by the old track

The gaming floor at Hastings Casino is slots only. No table games are listed, and there is no poker room. Card players from Langley will need a different venue for a game of poker.

Doors open at 11 AM every day of the week. From Sunday to Thursday the casino closes at 12 AM. On Friday and Saturday it stays open until 2 AM, so it does not run through the night. Holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.

Food and drink sit close to the machines. Jerome's is a casual restaurant off the Racebook. An indoor lounge with a full-service bar and a stage sits steps from the gaming floor. The Clubhouse opens only during live horse racing, which ended at Hastings on December 5, 2025.

Hastings uses Encore Rewards, the same card used at most casinos around Langley. Entry is 19+, and guests need government-issued photo ID. Anyone who goes can set a spending limit before leaving home.

From Langley City, Hastings is 34.1 km away in a straight line. Cascades Casino Langley has 28 live table games and a poker room; Hastings lists neither. Racing at the site goes back to 1889. Great Canadian Entertainment ended live thoroughbred racing on December 5, 2025, citing a lack of economic feasibility after BC ended slot-revenue funding for racing. Hastings still publishes a monthly simulcast schedule.

Great Canadian Entertainment still runs the casino as of October 7, 2026. A definitive agreement dated November 7, 2025 sells the casino part and casino-related property to the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, subject to regulators and the City of Vancouver. The sale had not closed by mid-June 2026.
