Starlight Casino in New Westminster

Starlight Casino has 54 table games and over 935 slots. The building is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment runs it.

The poker room sits off the main casino floor and has 7 tables. From Sunday to Thursday it opens at 11 AM and runs to late. No exact weeknight closing time is published, so this guide does not give one. On Friday and Saturday the room runs 24 hours.

Players can reach the poker line at 604-777-3500 with questions about a given night. The main casino number is 604-777-2946, and holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.

The racebook, for off-track betting on thoroughbred and standardbred racing, is inside MATCH Eatery & Public House. Its hours are Sunday 9 AM to 9 PM and Monday and Tuesday 12 PM to 9 PM. Wednesday and Thursday run 9 AM to 9 PM, and Friday and Saturday 9 AM to midnight. Kirin Restaurant serves Chinese food on site.

Parking is free, in a parkade that leads to the front door and in outdoor lots. RV parking is available on request. The Encore Rewards card is free and is obtained at Guest Services with valid ID. Wheelchairs, accessible formats and communication supports can be requested.

From Langley City, Starlight Casino is 23.4 km away in a straight line. Its poker room has 7 tables, against 6 at Cascades Casino Langley. On Friday and Saturday the Starlight room runs 24 hours. The Cascades room opens at 9 AM daily and publishes no closing time.

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment runs both casinos, and the same Encore Rewards card is used at each. Setting a spending limit before the drive makes sense at either room.
