Who keeps Langley Poker Orbit

Langley Poker Orbit is written and edited by the Orbit desk, its editorial team, which signs as a desk, not one person. The guide exists because poker hours around Langley differ from room to room and are spread across separate venue sites.

By the Orbit desk

The Orbit desk

The Orbit desk, the guide's own editorial team, writes and edits every page. Work is credited to the desk as a whole. Each page is signed by the desk, with no personal byline. The desk has no tie to any venue, to BCLC or to PlayNow. Its one commercial tie is on the home page: links marked Ad, all leading to a single private online casino site.

Langley Poker Orbit is not a casino. It takes no bets and holds no accounts for anyone, and readers are offered no rewards.

How facts are checked

The desk checks each venue's hours, address and phone number on the venue's own pages and on official sources, and dates each check. Facts on this page were checked on October 7, 2026. Some venue pages block automated reading. Those are read from archived copies of the same pages, with the capture date kept.

Where official pages give different figures, the figure stays out: Grand Villa's pages give two poker table counts. A closing time the venue does not publish is shown as unpublished, never guessed. Bus routes come from TransLink data, and distances are straight lines from Langley City.

Where the pictures come from

The painted pictures on this site come from an image generator, and the rail guideway at dusk shows no particular place. Header paintings on the Elements Casino Surrey and Hastings Casino pages were generated from real photographs of those casinos. Two River Rock paintings, marina and entrance hall, began as free-licence Flickr photographs, credited underneath with photographer, licence and changes. Cascades Casino Langley and Parq Vancouver pages show real Wikimedia Commons photographs, cropped, with photographer and licence underneath; the Image sources list below names author, licence, link and changes. The people pictured are invented; not one is employed by any casino or by BCLC.

How the guide is paid

Only the home page carries paid links: three of them, labelled Ad, all pointing to one private online casino site. That site is not PlayNow, and provincial authorities neither operate nor license it. The guide earns a commission from it, and the desk may switch to a different partner. No other page, this one among them, carries a paid link. Venues, TransLink, PlayNow, BCLC and help services pay the site nothing.

Writing to the desk

Letters to the Orbit desk go to [email protected]. A reader can write to flag a correction, report an hour that has changed or ask how the guide works. This address is the guide's own and is not connected to any casino. Questions for a venue belong on that venue's own phone line.
