From Langley City, River Rock is 35.5 km in a straight line. Its poker room runs 24 hours from Friday 10 AM to Monday 4 AM. Cascades Casino Langley works differently. There the poker room opens at 9 AM daily, and its closing time is not published.

River Rock opened on June 25, 2004. Since June 16, 2026 it has been owned by a partnership of Petroglyph Development Group (Snuneymuxw First Nation) and Musqueam Capital Corp (Musqueam Indian Band). The partners bought it from Great Canadian Entertainment.
